Learn Hedge Laying with Madeline from the Brown Envelope Seed Gang. From 11pm -4pm. By the end of the day we hope you will be able to:

Identify Trees and Shrubs that make good hedges, the benefits of hedges, what biodiversity they support.

Madeline learnt hedge laying from her dad over 50 years ago. At the time it didn't seem fun to be out in the cold spring weather, but I appreciate now his skill at making stock proof boundaries with a few simple tools, and how I learn through doing rather than consultingU-tube.
