Job’s tears/ Adlay

Job's Tears, Adlay (Coix lacryma-jobi var. ma-yuen), the shiny, thin shelled version of Job’s tears, the bead grass. We got this from our friend Radix and it has been growing happily in the tunnel for several years. I put a clump of it outside where it seemed to survive the winter, but then I asked someone to clear out the bed and I don't know where it went. Anyway the seeds are germinating quite well. so we are offering a few packets. Allegedly really nutritious and even medicinal. The seed contains about 52% starch, 18% protein, 7% fat.
