Endive Panclieri

Cichorium endivia Endive is a relative of the lettuce and Dandelion and this plant produces large heads of frizzy salad leaves with a bitter taste. A great addition to winter salads. The taste is is a little bitter but sweetens when chopped. Sow in spring or summer, overwinters well.
