Pisum sativum This variety is cultivated for its delicious pea shoots. Continual cutting of the tendrils and the top leaves at the tip of a pea stem, promotes regrowth. The shoots can be used in salads and stir-fries. They can be sown all year round under cover and from February to August outdoors.
